Should You Use Filmmaker Mode?
Filmmaker Mode doesn’t do any post-processing on the media. The aspect ratio, frame rates, and other image enhancement techniques stay unchanged. You don’t need to spend time calibrating the TV for each movie or show.
Moreover, you don’t need to play with multiple picture modes to check which works well for a particular media. That said, it has been only a few years since the Filmmaker Mode existed on high-end TVs, which means the target audience is still small. The UHD alliance assures that Filmmaker Mode can be activated via a firmware update for TVs that don’t have the feature yet.
Why Does My LG TV Automatically Go to Filmmaker Mode?
After a recent update, LG TV will ask you to enable the Filmmaker Mode when it detects any content that supports it. Once enabled, it stays on until you manually disable it using the Advanced Settings. So follow the steps mentioned above to disable the Filmmaker Mode when its not required.
Why Is LG Filmmaker Mode So Dark?
