When it comes to using an app that lets you text, call or screen share your games – Discord is the answer. Now, gamers and other people for years have used Discord, and Discord has always been ad-free for most of it. Of course, you always find the additional Discord Nitro pop-ups here and there, but that is fine. However, things seem to be changing a bit and if you have noticed, there seems to be another sort of promotion going on.
What is this promotion? Well, if you have used Discord on your PC and have updated it recently, you might have noticed a small square that might seem like an advertisement. If you do look closely, it’s not an advertisement. Rather, it is a promotion that you can earn rewards from when you complete certain tasks when someone is watching your Discord stream.
But, if you’re still annoyed with that particular square showing your promotional rewards, Discord lets you turn those off. Want to know how? Read on to know!
