How to Take a Screenshot on Pixel 8 Pro

The Default Method
Most phones come with some shortcuts key combos to take a screenshot. And this is applicable to Pixel 8 phone series as well. Here’s how to take a screenshot on Pixel 8 easily.
Step 1: Open the page that you want to capture in screenshot.
Step 2: Now press Power and Volume Down keys together.
Step 3: It will capture the page and you will see animation and some tools at the bottom.
Step 4: The screenshot will be saved to your phone. From the tools you can directly share the screenshot or take other actions.
Using Back Tap
On Pixel 8 you can also use gestures to take screenshot. Gestures are considers easy and this one only require one hand and just two taps in the back. To enable this gesture, you can follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Open Settings on your Pixel 8.
Step 2: Scroll down and open System settings followed by Gestures.
Step 3: In gestures open Quick Tap to start actions.
Step 4: Enable Use Quick Tap and select Take Screenshot.

If you are using Pixel, you may have already set up the Google Assitant. If not complete its setup.
Step 1: Now Go to the page that you want to capture in screenshot.
Step 2: Next launch the Google Assistant in the same page. You can trigger it by Hey Google command. Swipe up from the left bottom or right bottom work as well.
Step 3: Now ask google to capture the screenshot. You can also type the command.
Step 4: once you give the command, the screenshot will be captured.

How to Take a Long Screenshot on Pixel 8 (Pro)
If you want to capture the page whose content is not visible in one screen, then you can take long screenshot also known as scrolling screenshot. It is mostly used to capture webpages, lists, and other necessary big details.
Note: Not all apps support long screenshot. Follow the process to capture scrolling screenshot as well as to know which apps don’t have support.
Step 1: Open the page that you want to screenshot.
Step 2: Capture the screenshot using any of the above methods.
Step 3: Now you will see Capture More option at the bottom if the apps support long screenshot. Tap capture more.
Step 4: Drag the screen to the size according to your requirement. Example to capture full page drag to the last.
Step 5: At last tap the Save page. In case you want to edit, you can also edit the screenshot before and after saving it.
