The Vision Pro is a first-generation device that runs on the newly built operating system, dubbed visionOS. Just like other Apple operating systems, visionOS boasts several useful features, including the ability to take screenshots and record the screen.

There are multiple ways to take a screenshot on Apple Vision Pro, that you can use to capture any screen inside or outside the app. Whether you want to record the screen on your new Vision Pro or take a screenshot, you can follow the methods below to do so.

The visionOS offers many useful accessibility features including the ability to take screenshots appearing on your screen. If you want to capture the content displayed on your screen or inside an app, you can simply take a screenshot by following these methods:

Method 1: By using physical buttons

Step 1: Open the Location or App where you want to take a screenshot.

Step 2: Now Press the Digital Crown and the Top Button simultaneously to capture the screenshot.

Method 2: By using Siri

Step 1: Open the App Where you want to take a screenshot.

How to Screen Record on Apple Vision Pro

Now if you want to record your gameplay or just want to show something to your friends or family, you can record the screen on your Apple Vision Pro. Just like iPad or iPhone, you can start recording from the control center, here are the steps you can follow to start screen recording on Vision Pro.

Step 1: To open Control Center, look up, then tap on the bottom pointing arrow icon, near the top of your view.

Step 2: Tap the Control Center icon (the icon with two horizontal toggles).

Step 3: Now simply tap the Record icon to start the screen recording.

That’s it.

In case the screen recording icon doesn’t appear in the control center, you can head over to Settings > Control Center and add screen recording to the control center.

How to Find Screenshots and Screen Recordings on Apple Vision Pro

All your screenshots and screen recordings are available inside the Camera Roll. Simply go back to the home screen, open the Photos app, and you will find all your screenshots and screen recordings there.

If you want to share these screenshots or screen recordings, then you can easily airdrop them from your Vision Pro to your iPhone, iPad, or MacBook. Alternatively, if you have iCloud enabled, these photos will automatically sync to your iPhone’s camera roll.

Keep in mind that you won’t be able to record screen or screenshots while streaming your favorite TV shows or movies in Disney+ or the Apple TV app.
