Note: This feature will only work if Bluetooth is enabled on both Apple Watch and iPhone and are in the range. If your Watch is out of range, then you can follow the traditional method listed below this method.

  2. Find Control Center and Tap on it.
  3. In the More Controls section, find the Ping My Watch option.
  4. Select the Green “+” icon that appears in the front of the option.
  5. Once done, open the Control Center with a swipe-down gesture from the top right corner.
  6. Select the Ping My Watch icon.

Ping Apple Watch from iPhone on iOS 16 or older

If your iPhone is running on the older version of iOS, then you can use the traditional Find My method to track down your Apple Watch. This method is also suitable if your Apple Watch is not in range. Here are the steps you can follow to ping the watch.

  2. If you open the app for the first time, it will prompt you to allow location for Find My.

You can also locate your Apple Watch inside the Watch app on iPhone. All you need to do is, open the Watch app, select All Watches > tap on the i button > then select Find My Apple Watch. It will bring you to the Find My app and play sound on the watch.
