There’s a new Dying Light game that has finally got a release date. Titled Dying Light: The Beast, this will be the next new game that is scheduled for release in less than a few months. As you know, the Dying Light series is a survival horror game that involves weird and creepy zombies to fight against.
While the previous game, Dying Light 2: Stay Human, became a massive hit, fans of the game are now very excited about Dying Light: The Beast. While you might think that’s expected since it’s a new Dying Light game, that’s not the case.
The developers, i.e., Techland, had made a statement earlier that select players will get a copy of Dying Light: The Beast for free.

Dying Light: The Beast For Free? But How?
While it may excite many of you about getting a brand new 2025 game for free, there are a few things that you need to note.
- This offer is only available to players who purchased the Ultimate Edition of Dying Light 2: Stay Human.
- The Ultimate Edition is no longer available for purchase. Ti was removed two weeks after the developers revealed that the next game would be free for those who have the Ultimate Edition of the game.
- The game will be added to your game store’s library automatically on the 22nd of August 2025. You simply need to download the game and play it right away.
The developers of the game, Techland, had also recently sent in emails to players who purchased the Ultimate Edition of Dying Light 2: Stay Human. They will be receiving a copy of Dying Light: The Beast at no additional cost.
The email invite also reveals that players will get access to the pre-order content along with the game – this is something that a lot of people are excited about.

The only way to enjoy Dying Light: The Beast is by pre-ordering either the standard edition or the deluxe edition of the game. The standard edition of the game, i.e., the base game, will cost you $59.99, and the deluxe edition will cost you $69.99.

If you have the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, don’t lose hope as the developers have stated that they will be optimizing the game for these two consoles, and you can expect a release for these consoles towards the end of 2025. The developers have yet to reveal the minimum and recommended system requirements for PC.
