How to Get back MIUI 11 Quick Settings on MIUI 12 (Disable Control Center)

The latest Xiaomi’s custom UI (MIUI 12) is now available for Xiaomi phones with many new features and improvements over the older MIUI 11. Xiaomi has also unveiled the devices that will receive the MIUI 12 update. The MIUI 12 comes with UI improvements like the new control center, new Settings UI, and many other changes. The company has made UI changes for the smooth performance that users have been waiting for long. MIUI 12 changes include the new Control center like iPhones. But in case if you don’t like it, then this guide is for you. Here you will know How to disable Control Center on MIUI 12.

The new Control Center on MIUI 12 looks good and give a similar feel like iPhones. It packs with new animations and better controls which is easy for accessing Bluetooth, WiFi etc. There is no denying that the new Control Center on MIUI 12 is good, but it comes with some sacrifices. One of its disadvantage is that it covers the whole screen, which may not be comfortable for some users. I also prefer the old status bar & Notification bar of MIUI 11, which is better in terms of accessibility. The MIUI 12 is not available globally, but it will soon roll out in all regions. So if you don’t like the new Control center then you can get the MIUI 11 Quick Toggle on your MIUI 12.

How to Replace Control Center with MIUI 11 Quick Settings

In the old MIUI 11 Quick Settings, we can easily reach and toggle Bluetooth, WiFi and other Settings. You can also easily access Notification bar on the MIUI 11 along with quick toggle. But in MIUI 12 you need to access Notification and Quick Toggle on a different screen. Also, you can not see background while using Notification bar and Quick Settings which is not the case with MIUI 11. So these are some reasons to change Control Center to MIUI 11 Quick Settings. But the main reason to switch to old MIUI 11 Status Bar is the choice that you like MIUI 11 or MIUI 12 Quick Settings. How to Remove Control Center on MIUI 12

It’s a right call from Xiaomi for keeping the MIUI 11 Quick Settings in the MIUI 12. But by default it is disabled, and the new Control Center is enabled. And as they have not removed the old Quick Settings, we can enable it with few steps. Follow the below steps to switch to MIUI 11 Status Bar & Notification Bar.
