What is True Tone display?
It is the new feature by Apple for latest iPhones and iPads where your devices use advanced multichannel sensors to adjust the color and intensity of display to match the ambient light so that images appear more natural.
Devices that feature True Tone display:
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2nd Generation)
- iPad Pro 10.5-inch
- The iPad Pro 9.7-inch
- iPhone 8
- iPhone 8 Plus
- The iPhone X
- Other Upcoming Apple Devices
How to Enable True Tone display mode on iPhone 8/8 Plus/iPhone X:
How to Disable True Tone display mode on iPhone 8/8 Plus/iPhone X:
- Open Settings on your Apple device
- Now Tap on Display and Brightness
- Turn off True Tone display
Note:- If you are using True Tone display feature than you have to avoid Enabling some settings such as Invert Colors, Greyscale, and Increase Contrast. Anyway, you don’t need to enable them while True Tone display is already enabled.
One more thing about True Tone display is that it may eat battery, but it’s worth it.
