Alexa comes built-in with several LG smart TVs, which makes it easier to control your LG TV with voice commands. After connecting your TV to Alexa, you can control the TV, which includes launching apps, searching for content, playing music, and much more, just by using commands without navigating through the different options. In this article, you will learn the steps to connect Alexa to LG TV.
LG smart TVs with built-in Alexa functionality come with a smart remote control (LG names it a Magic remote) which has an integrated microphone. Users can use it to give commands to the TV. While you can quickly connect Alexa to your LG TV with built-in Alexa, you can use a streaming device like the Fire TV Stick or Roku Stick if your TV does not have Alexa built-in.
Follow the simple setup instructions listed in this article during the initial TV launch or afterward through the Alexa App on your smart TV. Moreover, you can also control various functions of your LG TV using the Alexa app by enabling the LG ThinQ skill on the app.
