Every year between August and October, a good number of leaks regarding the Google Pixel surface. Even this year, there have been a good number of hints and leaks that have surfaced online about the Pixel 8 series.
Google has definitely gotten fed up with how its devices get leaked and has finally decided to tease the upcoming Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
If we take a look at the timing, Google has played its cards quite well. While Apple is gearing up for its upcoming launch event that will showcase the new iPhone 15 lineup, Google wants you to know that they have new devices for you in case you plan to upgrade or switch to an Android smartphone.
Google has released two videos regarding the Pixel 8 duos and other devices that are to be unveiled at its dedicated event on the 4th of October.
Googleโs October 4th Made By Google Event
The first video that was released by Google on the Made by Google YouTube channel is a video that shows off a glimpse of the new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. as well as the new Pixel Watch 2 and the new Pixel Buds.
The video ends with the date of the launch event which states October 4th, 2023. The video is 15 seconds long and doesn’t reveal anything else like the specs, prices, or even the various other color options that could be available for the Pixel 8 duos.
Pixel 8 Duo Sneak Peak By Google
An hour later, Google released another video that teased the sides and the backs of the Pixel 8 duos. Starting with the Pixel 8 in a nice Rose (Light Pinkish) color and for the Pixel 8 Pro we get to see a beautiful Porcelain color.
The Pixel 8 comes with a dual camera setup at the back along with a flashlight and some additional sensors. Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro can be seen sporting a triple camera setup with LED flash and temperature sensor, recently confirmed via the Pixel Phone Simulator help page.

October 4th Event: What to Expect
Apart from the most awaited Google Pixel 8 duos, we will be seeing Google show off the Pixel Buds Pro and also the second generation of the Google Pixel Watch.
In addition to the Pixel devices, Google is likely to make Android 14 available to the public this month, probably within the next week or two. It’s expected to be launched before the public release of iOS 17.
