On June 8, Google pushed the third Android 13 Beta and with the beta 3, it also reached the platform stability milestone. Now a new but small Beta 3.1 update is rolling out with a minor but much needed fix. Letโs find out about this minor Android 13 Beta 3.1 update.
The new incremental Android 13 Beta 3.1 comes with build number TPB3.220513.017.B1. And since it is a minor update it weighs much less than a major update. It doesnโt bring anything new compared to Beta 3 except for the minor fix. Known Issues remain the same as Android 13 Beta 3.
This minor update to Android 13 Beta 3 fixes an issue where the Android Beta Feedback app was not available on Android 13 Beta 3 in some cases.
A feedback app is important for any test build so that testers can share their feedback based on their user experience for that particular build. And since it was missing in the Android 13 Beta 3, Google is now rolling out an incremental update with the fix that brings the feedback app.
Talking about the eligibility, the Beta 3.1 is available to all Pixel phones starting from Pixel 4. This includes Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4, Pixel 4a (5G), Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro.
If you have any of the above mentioned Pixel phones running on the Android 13 beta, then you will receive the Beta 3.1 update as OTA directly on your device. You can also check for the update manually by going to the Software Update section under Settings.
Yes, you can also install the OTA Image or Factory Image to update your Pixel phone to the latest Android 13 Beta 3.1 But for that, you need Android 13 Beta 3.1 files that you can download by going to this page.

Before updating your phone, make sure to take a backup of important data and also charge your phone to at least 50%.
After this beta 3 update, we can expect the next public beta in July which can be the last beta update before the Android 13 final stable release. We will share it with you if there is any update.
