Google has begun rolling out the Pixel Update for May 2025, which addresses some known issues and brings improvements. This is a staged rollout, so it may take a few weeks to reach all users. The latest monthly Pixel update is available for Pixel 6 and newer models.

The build number may also vary depending on your carrier.
This month’s update is fairly small with official mention for a couple of fixes, which is common for a monthly update. Google is already preparing for the Android 16 release, so it’s unlikely they’ll introduce new features in the Android 15-based update. However, these monthly updates are still important because of bug fixes and security enhancements.

The latest May 2025 update for eligible Pixel devices is rolling out in batches. If you own an eligible Pixel device, you can get the OTA update anytime. To check for the update, simply navigate to Settings > System > System Updates > Download and Install. Make sure to backup your important data before installing the update.
