Samsung is doing a tremendous job with the Android 13 update rollout. Android 13 is available to Galaxy users with One UI 5 update. Samsung has already rolled out the update for several devices. And two more phones join the Android 13 update. Galaxy F62 and Galaxy Tab S7 series are now getting Android 13 and One UI 5 update.
Over the past two days, a bunch of Galaxy devices have started receiving the Android 13 update. This includes the Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy A71 and Galaxy Note 10 Lite. After only two days in the week, two more devices join the batch and more will join this week. We recently shared a story about Samsung expecting the rollout to be completed before 2023. And at this rate it is going to be easy for Samsung to achieve the goal.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ are receiving the stable Android 13 update in some parts of Europe with build number T8xxXXU2DVK3. Availability will expand to more regions soon. And the Android 13 update for Galaxy F62 with build number E625FDDU2CVK2 is being rolled out to users in India.
This is the third major update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series as it has already received Android 11 and Android 12 as the first and second major updates respectively. In the case of both devices, you can expect a large update, probably more than 2GB.
Now coming to new features the Android 13 and One UI 5 has a long list of changelog. Some of the main features are new lock screen customization, new wallpapers, improved animations, moew color palette options, large widgets, improved security and privacy, per app language and a lot more. You can check the common changelog in this page. Some of the features could be different for tablet.
If you are a Galaxy F62 and Galaxy Tab S7 series user, you can expect the stable Android 13 update soon if you haven’t already. The update will be rolling out in most of the regions soon. So make sure to check for the update manually by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Before upgrading your phone to Android 13 and One UI 5, you should take backup of important data and charge the phone to at least 50%.
