Samsung is not the OEM that compromises with the user experience and as we know Android updates are important for a better user experience, Samsung is delivering the update to most of the devices. And with the recent Android 11 rollout to Galaxy Tab A7 makes the statement true.

The Galaxy Tab A7 was released last year in September with Android 10 based One UI 2.5 out of the box. And so, the Android 11 based One UI 3.1 is the first major update for Galaxy Tab A7. The Android 11 for Samsung started last year in December and since then Tab A7 users are waiting for the update. And it looks like the wait is finally over as Galaxy Tab A7 Android 11 update is here.

As per reports from Sammobile, the Android 11 update for Galaxy Tab A7 is currently rolling out in European countries and the UK. But as we know Samsung, and it’s just a matter of time when the update will reach other regions as well. The Android 11 update is rolling out to Galaxy Tab A7 with the firmware version T505XXU3BUD7.

And if we talk about changes and new features, the Galaxy Tab A7 Android 11 update brings March 2021 Android Security patch. And the features include Private Share, Nearby Share, Eye Comfort Shield, Remove location data, Auto Switch feature, along with a few other features. Obviously, the newer update is based on Android 11. For now, we don’t have the full changelog but once we have it, we will share it with you.

As you know the Galaxy Tab A7 Android 11 update is rolling out in Europe, you can expect the update over the air. But in case if you don’t receive notification for Android 11 on Galaxy Tab A7, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update. Then tap on Download & Install button to install the update.

You can get the update immediately by flashing available Firmware however, we don’t recommend flashing firmware from different regions as it can break the device.

You can download the firmware from Frija tool, SamFirm tool, Samsung Firmware Downloader, or SamMobile website. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. Then flash the Galaxy Tab A7 Firmware to your device. If you want to do so, then I recommend you take a backup prior to diving into the process. That’s it.
