Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Release Date

Samsung has been inconsistent with the launch of Fan Edition models. The Galaxy S20 FE was launched in March 2021, the Galaxy S21 FE was launched in January 2022, and the latest Galaxy S23 FE was introduced in October last year. As you can see there is no specific release window for the Fan Edition.

Given the number of leaks we have seen recently, it could launch sooner than expected. We can expect the Galaxy S24 FE to launch before the end of September 2024. Official looking promo images have also leaked, which means the device is only a few weeks away.

Samsung hasn’t officially announced a launch date, and it might not do so until later. They might launch the device quietly.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Design

As you know, the FE model shares similarities with their main S series phones, and the same is true for the upcoming Galaxy S24 FE at least as per renders. This means that the Galaxy S24 FE will come with design improvements matching the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus.

First, the aluminum frames are now flat as seen in the Galaxy S24 series. And the corners are less curved than before. You can expect some improvements in the bezels. The upcoming Galaxy S24 FE to come in five colors; Graphite, Blue, Silver/White, Green, and Yellow.

There are three rear cameras, each separated and having a protruding design that some users may not appreciate, as it isn’t table-friendly. Rear camera placement and other design elements remain the same as S23 FE.

Display

Galaxy S24 FE is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display. Similar to its predecessor, Galaxy S24 FE will support up to 120Hz refresh rate. And the display brightness can go up to 1900nits. The peak brightness only works in HDR videos.

The display on the Galaxy S24 FE does have Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection which is good.

SoC, RAM, and Storage

The upcoming mid-range Galaxy S24 FE will be powered by the Exynos 2400e SoC. Yes, many users will be disappointed as they know the performance of Exynos chips. Samsung could have added a Snapdragon SoC.

It is expected to have up to 12GB of RAM. And you will be able to get it in 128GB or 256GB storage.

Camera

As you have seen in the attached images, there will be three rear cameras and a single front camera in the device. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera, 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

On the front, you will get a 10MP selfie camera. The device’s camera performance will also benefit from AI features.

Battery

The Galaxy S24 FE will boast a 4565mAh battery which you can tell is going to be great. As per the leaked promo images, the advertised battery life will be up to 78 hours for music playback and up to 29 hours for video playback on a single charge. This can be maximize with some battery settings.

We don’t know the charging speed but don’t expect too much from Samsung. Charging speed is one thing that Samsung should improve fast.
