Samsung is expanding the Android 13 update to more of its devices. Galaxy S10 Lite is now the latest Samsung Galaxy to receive the Android 13 based One UI 5 update. This is the last major update for the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite at least as per Samsung’s update policy. The Lite variant was released a year after the main Galaxy S10 series and also with a higher update. And so the Galaxy S10 Lite is getting an extra update.

As we shared in one of our stories, Samsung is expected to complete the One UI 5 rollout by this year. And since many eligible devices have already received the update, the remaining devices may get the update in the next month i.e. December. Samsung has also rolled out the update for mid range and budget phones such as Galaxy A72, Galaxy A71, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy Note 10 Lite, and others. We have also prepared a region wise eligibility, which you can check here.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Android 13 update currently rolling out in Europe. The update will reach more regions soon. The One UI 5 update for Galaxy S10 Lite comes with build number G770FXXU6HVK5. For other regions, the last part of the build number is going to be the same. Since it is the major update for the device, it weighs more than security updates. So make sure to use WiFi for downloading the update.

Talking about new features, the Android 13 update for Galaxy S10 Lite comes with a long list of changes such as new lock screen customization, new wallpapers, improved animations, some UI changes, new color palette, bigger widgets, per app language, enhanced privacy and security, and more. The update could also bring the new Android security patch.

As mentioned above, the Galaxy S10 Lite Android 13 update is currently available in Europe (Spain) but it will be available in other regions soon. If you are a Galaxy S10 Lite user, you will receive the OTA update soon. Sometimes the notification doesnโ€™t work, so make sure to check the update manually.
