Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Tab S7 also receiving stable One UI 4.0 Update

Samsung is doing an incredible job with the One UI 4.0 update rollout. The flagship Galaxy phones from the past three years have already received the stable Android 12 update. The Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy Tab S7, and Galaxy Tab S7+ are now also receiving the stable Android 12 based One UI 4.0 update. It looks like Samsung is on a mission to push the Android 12 update to as many devices as possible before starting next year.

This week is already going great for Samsung users as the OEM has rolled out the update for a bunch of phones. And pushing updates to more devices daily is a treat for Samsung users. One UI 4.0 comes with most of the Android 12 features. And if you have a Galaxy S10 or Galaxy Tab S7, you can now experience all the new features as well.

The Android 12 update for Galaxy S10 comes with build number G973FXXUEGULB. And the Galaxy Tab S7 One UI 4.0 update carries build number T976BXXU2CULC. This can vary per model and region. Since this is a major update for the device, you can expect the update size to be more than a GB.

Talking about new features, updates for both devices are expected to bring almost the same feature. Some of the common features you can expect in the update are new widgets, very smooth animations while opening and closing of apps, overhauled quick panel, automatic dark mode for wallpapers, icons, and illustrations, new charging animation, and much more. The stable Android 12 for the Galaxy S10 series and Galaxy Tab S7 series are now rolling out in batches. And if you have Galaxy S10 or Galaxy Tab S7, then you will receive the OTA update on your phone within a few days. To check for the update go to Settings > Software Update. Make sure to take a full backup of your phone and charge it to 50% at least.

If you want the update immediately, then you can also manually install the update using firmware. You can download the firmware from Frija toolSamsung Firmware Downloader. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. Then flash the Galaxy S10 or Galaxy Tab S7 firmware to your device.
