Galaxy Note 20 is now the latest Galaxy phone series to get stable Android 13 based One UI 5 update. This is the third series that receive the stable Android 13 update today.
So, Samsung has finally started rolling out the Android 13 based stable One UI 5 update to the masses. Last month Samsung released the update for its latest flagship, Galaxy S22 series. And then shared an official rollout plan according to which several phones are eligible for the update in November. And as promised the company is now rolling out the One UI 5 update for the Galaxy Note 20.
The update is also rolling out to the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy S21 series. As we all know, once Samsung starts the rollout there is hardly a week when it is not going to release an update. Since it has already begun the mass update, it is going to be a busy week for the company and Galaxy users.
The One UI 5 update for Galaxy Note 20 series is currently rolling out in Switzerland. And considering it’s Samsung, by the time you read this, the update could go live in more regions as well. Galaxy Note 20 One UI 5 update comes with build number N98xBXXU5GVJE. It is a major update so expect the update size bigger.
Along with a bunch of changes and new features, the update also brings October 2022 Android Security Patch. Talking about new features, it brings faster animations, new lock screen customization, updated UI, updated Stock Apps, improved privacy and security, and more. The update is shipping with a very long list of changelogs just like the Galaxy S22 update.
Samsung usually rolls out updates globally which means the update will be available in more regions soon. So if you are a Galaxy Note 20 or Note 20 Ultra user then you can get OTA update any time now. You can also check for the update manually from Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Once the update is available download and install the update.
Before updating your phone to the latest Android 13, make sure to back up your phone and charge it to at least 50%. Once you get the update, share your experience with it.
