After rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy AI-eligible devices, Samsung has begun to roll out One UI 6.1 for other Galaxy Phones.
In this wave, some budget phones, including Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A73, Galaxy A33, and more have already received the update. The Galaxy F54 is the latest to get One UI 6.1 without AI features. Here’s more about the update.
Galaxy F54 is also the first phone in the F series to get One UI 6.1. The update for the device is rolling out in India and it comes with firmware build E546BXXU4CXDC and download size of around 2GB.
Talking about changes, the new update brings April 2024 Android security patch and a ton of new features. Unfortunately, it doesn’t include AI features. But still, the amount of non-AI features is huge.
With this update, you will get features such as copy and paste from one image to another, more accurate image clipping, improved gallery search, change playback speed of a video in a specific section, easily edit videos on different devices, new wallpaper editing features, more widgets for lock screen, new Samsung Find app, share location with others, improved privacy, and many more. See this Article for detailed changes.
If you are a Galaxy F54 user, you can expect the latest One UI 6.1 OTA to drop soon, if it hasnโt already. Sometimes the OTA update notification doesnโt work so make sure to manually check for the update. Go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
