After bringing the One UI 6.1 to its new and old flagship devices, Samsung is now extending the update to mid-range phones. The Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 are the latest Galaxy phones to receive the One UI 6.1 update. Hereโs everything you need to know about the update.
Samsung is following its usual pattern, rolling out the One UI 6.1 update first in South Korea. It should roll out in other regions soon. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is also among the devices that have recently started receiving the update, you can read about it here.
Galaxy A54 One UI 6.1 update comes with build version A546SKSU4CXDC, and the One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy A34 is rolling out with build A346NKSU5CXD5. Build numbers will be slightly different for other regions. One UI 6.1 is a massive update but without AI features it weighs less at around 1GB.
Most of you might be looking for one common answer whether these two phones are getting AI features with One UI 6.1 update or not. Well for Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 the answer is No. However, the update brings other non-AI features to both devices. It’s unclear if AI features will be added to these devices in future.
If you are a Galaxy A54 or Galaxy A34 user in South Korea, you may have already received the update. But if not you will receive the update soon, the same goes for other regions. You can track the update in Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Once the OTA update is available you download and install it.
