Galaxy A13 5G starts receiving Stable Android 14 Update

Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is the latest phone to receive the Android 14 update with One UI 6. This marks another delightful moment in the holiday season for Galaxy A13 5G users. The past two months have been exceptional for Galaxy users, with Samsung rolling out the stable Android 14 update for a bunch of Galaxy devices. Now, it’s time for the Galaxy A13 5G, another entry-level 5G phone, to join the list.

If we look at the history, Galaxy A13 was released with Android 11 OS in 2021. Samsung later released Android 12 and Android 13 for the Galaxy A13 5G. Hence, Android 14 marks the third major update for the Galaxy A13 5G, while the LTE variant is still awaiting the update.

The Android 14 based One UI 6 for Galaxy A13 5G is rolling out with build number A136BXXU5DWK7. As you’d expect from a major Android update, it weighs in at over 1GB. It weighs in at 1467 MB to be exact.

Now letโ€™s talk about new feature. The Android 14 update brings a bunch of new features on Galaxy A13 5G. This includes redesigned Quick Settings, more customization controls onย the lock screen, a new One UI Sans font, auto blocker, new emojis, a new media player, separate battery settings, and many more. The update will also bump up the monthly security patch.

If you own Galaxy A13 5G, you will receive the Android 14 and One UI 6 soon if you havenโ€™t received the update already. It will arrive on all device through OTA update. Sometimes the update notification doesnโ€™t appear when the update arrives, so in that case you need to manually check for the update in interval. To do that go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Before install the update, make sure to backup your data. And also charge your phone to atleast 50%.
