How to Get Fortnite on iPhone/iPad in EU

Currently, Fortnite for Mobile is only available on the App Store in the US. However, users in the EU can officially play the game on iPhone and iPad through Epic Games Store or AltStore.

Simply download and install the Epic Games Store app on your device. Open the Store and look for Fortnite. Install Fortnite and enjoy the mobile version without any issues.

What about users in other regions?

As of now, you can try checking if the Epic Games Store is available in your region.

  • Alternatively, you can also try changing the App Store region to the US. After changing the region and opening the Fortnite for iOS link, you should be able to install the game.
  • You can also use cloud gaming such as Nvidia GeForce Now and Xbox Game Pass

The game was originally scheduled to re-release on the App Store in the US last week, however, Epic Games claims Apple did not approve the game, and so it was delayed for another week. The game is now available for download for iOS/iPadOS users in the US.

The game was removed from the App Store due to the dispute between Epic Games and Apple. A court case ensued between Apple and Epic Games over their differing viewpoints on in-app purchases. Apple wanted the in-app purchase to be made only through their own platform, while Epic Games wanted to integrate in-app purchases in their own way. Fortunately, Epic Store has finally won the case, which is good news for every Fortnite fan.
