Looking for a smartphone that doesn’t hurt your pockets? Well, Lava – the Indian smartphone brand is expected to release a new budget-friendly device. According to our sources, Lava is preparing to launch the Lava Yuva Pro (Yuva, meaning youth). The new Lava phone is expected to be released around the 20th of September. Lava recently teased a new Pro device on Twitter, so it could be possible that it will be the all-new Yuva Pro.
Taking a look at the image that we have of the new device, you can see that the Yuva Pro sports the water drop notch accompanied by a single front shooter. From the image, you can spot a reasonably sized chin and decent bezels at the edges. The rear of the device has, what can be seen, a plastic back along with the triple camera setup and the Lava branding at the bottom left. With regards to colors, the Yuva Pro will launch in blue and light cream colors.
Let’s take a look at what the Yuva Pro is expected to come with. You can expect a 6.5 or a 6.7-inch IPS display The rear camera will consist of a 13MP main shooter. Details for the other two cameras are unknown. The device comes to switch 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be upgraded via SD cards. The Yuva Pro will be powered by a MediaTek CPU whose details are yet to be known.
In regards to the battery, the Yuva Pro sports a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged via the USB Type-C which could mean it’s got fast charging. Security-wise, the Yuva Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor present on the power button. The right side of the phone also sports volume rockers. We could also expect to see a 3.5-mm headphone jack at the bottom of the device.
The Yuva Pro will be running on Android 12, which will be completely stock and might have a few Lava apps that might be pre-installed. You can expect the usual connectivity features such as WiFi, Bluetooth, and 4G connectivity. The pricing for the budget Lava device is expected to be priced around Rs. 10,000. We are yet to await further official information from Lava regarding the Yuva Pro.
