The first and one of the biggest tech events of 2025 has now concluded, showcasing many exciting products to look forward to in the future. At this year’s CES, Google also announced several new features set to release on Google TV later this year.

One of the main highlights was the announcement of Gemini AI for Google TV. The arrival of Gemini on Google TV will unlock a whole new world of possibilities. As mentioned by Google, Gemini allows you and your family to interact with your TV naturally. You can ask about various topics such as travel, health, space, history and more.

With Gemini AI assistant, you can find video content on your TV more easily, improving the user experience. Whether you are searching for a movie for your kids or parents, Gemini can understand and find results quickly and more accurately. The best part is that you donโ€™t have to say Hey Google every time to start your conversation.

Gemini on Google TV will also let you create customized artwork, control smart home devices from ambient mode, overview of the dayโ€™s news and more.

While Gemini AI integration will be the biggest change, Google TV will also get a Nest Doorbell feature. You will be able to send responses directly from their Google TV through the doorbell. There will be an option to send responses manually or use automatically generated responses.

These features will begin rolling out later this year on select devices. There is no specific timeline for when these features will be available. If you have a Google TV, you can look forward to enjoying more exciting features in the coming months.
