  4. Go back to Settings > System > Developer Options.
  5. Look for USB Debugging and enable it.
  6. Completely turn off your phone. Then press & hold Vol up + Power button to boot into fastboot mode.
  7. Connect your Zenfone Max Pro M2 to PC via USB.
  8. Download the Platform tools on PC and extract it.

  10. To check connection enter command:
    • fastboot devices
    • If it returns an ID, it means your device is connected
  11. Now enter the following command one by one
    • fastboot oem enable_camera_hal3 true
    • fastboot reboot
  12. The last command will reboot the phone. And now the Camera2 API is enabled on your Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2.
