Three days back, Tecno launched four new mid-range phones – Camon 19, Camon 19 Pro, Camon 19 Pro 5G, and Camon 19 Neo. The Tecno Camon 19 Pro is the most premium in the lineup and billing with a 64MP RGBW sensor by Samsung, the slimmest bezel in its segment, MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, a 6.8-inch 120Hz punch-hole panel, 5,000mAh battery, and more. Tecno Camon 19 Series – Details
Newly announced Tecno Camon series phones are up for pre-orders in select countries and should be available in other regions in the coming months. Before moving to the wallpapers section, here’s your sneak peek at the specs of the new phones. Starting from the front, then both Camon 19 and 19 Pro are packed with a 6.8-inch punch-hole IPS LCD panel with 1080 X 2460 pixels resolution. The Pro variants get the goodness of a 120Hz higher refresh rate, while there’s a normal panel on the vanilla Camon 19 smartphone. In terms of power, the Camon 19 boasts the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, whereas the Pro variant comes with the Helio G96 chipset.
Tecno launches the normal Camon 19 in 4GB and 6GB RAM options alongside the 128GB storage onboard. While the Pro variant comes in with 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB storage onboard. Both phones run on HiOS 8.6 based on Android 12. Moving to the back, then there’s a triple-lens snapper on both phones. The vanilla Camon 19 comes in with a 64MP primary camera sensor, and a 2MP ultra-wide-angle lens, joined by an unknown QVGA camera sensor. Whereas the more premium model in the lineup – Camon 19 Pro dawns a 64MP RGBW Samsung sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the Camon 19 Pro bundles a 32MP snapper for selfies; 16MP on the non-pro model.
Tecno Camon 19 series phones bundled with a 5,000mAh battery, the Pro model charges at 33W charging speed. The new lineup goes official in Eco Black, Sea Salt White, Digital Green, and Polar Blue color options. Talking about the pricing, then the Tecno Camon 19 Pro is priced at KES24,499 in Kenya (approx. $210 / ₹16,371). So, these are the specs of the newly announced Tecno Camon 19 series phones.
