The long-awaited Redmi Note 13 series has finally made its international debut. Yesterday, Xiaomi took the wraps off the next-generation Note series phones at an event held in India. This year’s lineup has three phones – Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. Redmi Note 13 (Pro) Plus – Quick Overview
One of the key highlights of this year’s Note series phones is that all these phones are 5G phones and the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is the most powerful phone in the three models. Let’s take a look at the specs of the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Pro Plus. Starting from the front, then the duo shares a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and 1800 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 13 Pro has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, whereas, the Pro Plus model is billing with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor. The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus offers IP68 water and dust resistance, whereas the Pro model is limited to IP54 rating. For security, both phones have an In-display optical fingerprint scanner. These phones come with Android 13 based MIUI 14 out-of-the-box, but are also ready for HyperOS.
Xiaomi launches these phones in 8GB / 12GB / 16GB RAM options and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB internal storage options. In terms of optics, these phones come with a triple-lens camera setup, featuring a 200MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the duo has a 16MP camera on the front.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro boasts a 5,100mAh battery and support 67W fast charging. The premium phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. The Note 13 Pro goes official in these colors – Coral Purple, Arctic White, Midnight Black, and Blue. The Pro Plus comes in Fushion Black, Fushion White, Fushion Purple, and Camo Green color options. In terms of pricing, the Pro lineup starts at ₹28,999 (approx. $350 / €320).
