In October last year, Xiaomi officially took the covers off the Redmi Note 12 series in mainland China. Today, the company brings the renowned Redmi Note-series phones to India. Xiaomi launches four new phones in its series – Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro+, and Note 12 Explorer Edition. Obviously, the Pro models and Explorer Edition are the show stoppers, billing with a 200MP camera, MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, 120Hz refresh rate, 120W fast charging, and more. Redmi Note 12 Series – Quick Overview

Before moving to the wallpapers section, here’s your quick look at the specs of the Redmi Note 12 series. Starting from the front side, then all four models in the lineup dawn a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 1080 X 2400 pixels resolution support. In terms of power, the vanilla Note 12 is powered by the budget-centric Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, whereas the other three models in the lineup get the mid-tier MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. All these phones run on Android 12 based MIUI 13 OS.

The camera is one of the major attractions of the new Note 12 series phones with the vanilla Note 12 billing with a 48MP camera, whereas the Note 12 Pro dawns a 50MP snapper. Xiaomi launches the Note 12 Pro+ and Explorer Edition with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPX sensor, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. Moving to the front, Note 12 has an 8MP shooter, whereas the other three phones have a 16MP snapper. Xiaomi’s new Redmi Note 12 series phones pack a 5,000mAh battery and sports fast charging (200W on the Note 12 Pro+).

In terms of pricing, the new Redmi Note 12’s price starts at โ‚น17,999 (approx. $218 / โ‚ฌ205), the Note 12 Pro costs โ‚น24,999 (approx. $303/โ‚ฌ285), whereas the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G comes with โ‚น29,999 (approx. $364/โ‚ฌ343) price tag.
