Last month, Xiaomi announced three new Redmi K-series phones, the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and the Redmi K40S. Talking about the Redmi K40S, then it houses the Snapdragon 870 chipset, 67W fast charging, 6.7-inch AMOLED display, 48MP triple camera setup, and more. The refreshed variant gets a new design that looks similar to the Redmi K50 series. It also bundles a unique built-in wallpaper which is now available to us. Redmi K40S – Details

At the time being, the new K-series phone is available in China and may come to other markets in the coming days. Before moving ahead, here’s your quick look at the specs of the new smartphone. Starting from the front, then the smartphone dons a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It has 1080 X 2400 pixels resolution and a punch-hole camera cutout in the center. Under the hood, the Redmi K40S boasts the Snapdragon 870 chipset and runs on Android 12 based MIUI 13 out-of-the-box.

Xiaomi Redmi K40S comes in three RAM and storage options – 6GB / 8GB / 12GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB storage onboard. In terms of optics, the new K-series phone has a triple-lens camera module on its back. It has a 48MP main sensor which has an f/1.8 aperture, 0.8-micron pixel size, PDAF, OIS, and other essential features. The camera setup also features an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the phone has a 20MP shooter for selfies. For security, Xiaomi packs the new model with a side-mounted physical fingerprint sensor.

Xiaomi bundles the Redmi K40S with a 4,500mAh battery and sports 67W fast charging. The smartphone goes official in Black, Gray, Blue, and Green color options. In terms of pricing, the Redmi K40S starts at CNY 1,799 (approx. โ‚น21,450 / $282). So, these are the specs of the newly landed Redmi K40S, now let’s move to the wallpapers section.
