Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi has announced two new entry-level smartphones – Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C in Malaysia through a Facebook post. Both phones are billing with notch display, MediaTek Helio G25/35 SoCs, 13MP primary camera, and more. Redmi 9A looks similar to the recently launched Redmi 9. Redmi 9A & 9C – Details

Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C goes official via a Facebook post in Malaysia. Talking about the details and specifications, the entry-level duo dawns a 6.53-inch HD+ display, which has a dot notch at the top and 720 X 1600 pixels resolution. Redmi 9C houses the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, while the vanilla Redmi 9A has MediaTek Helio G25 SoC. Both phones are running on MIUI 12 on the top of Android 10.

Talking about the optics, then the Redmi 9A has a single-lens camera module on the back panel. The Redmi 9C, on the other hand, has a triple-lens camera setup with a 13MP main sensor, which has an f/2.0 aperture, HDR, and other basic features. On the front, both phones have a 5MP selfie snapper. Both phones are coupled with 2GB RAM. In terms of storage, then there’s only a single 32GB inbuilt storage option available on both phones. 

Xiaomi’s Redmi 9A & 9C comes with a 5,000mAh battery, that sports standard 10W charging. The Redmi 9A is available in Blue color, while the Redmi 9C is available in the Orange color option.
