Last year, Xiaomi announced the Redmi 10 smartphone globally. The phone sits under the affordable price segment, available in many markets including India. Now the company thought it would be fitting to give an upgrade to its last year’s affordable Redmi smartphone. Last week, Xiaomi unveiled the 2022 Redmi 10 for India with a big 6,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 680 SoC, 6.7-inch panel, and more. Redmi 10 – Details

Xiaomi’s latest Redmi smartphone is already available for purchase in India. Before moving to the wallpapers section, here you can check the specs of the new phone. Starting from the front, then the smartphone features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel of HD+ (720 X 1600) resolution. It has a teardrop notch at the top, instead of a punch-hole panel on the predecessor. The newer variant houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and runs on Android 11 based on MIUI 13.

Xiaomi announces the Redmi 10 (2022) in 4GB RAM option alongside the 64GB and 128GB storage options, with a dedicated microSD card slot for expansion. Moving to the back, then the phone dons a dual-lens camera setup of a 50MP camera sensor. It has a 50MP main sensor of f/1.8 aperture and PDAF support, while the secondary sensor is a 2MP depth sensor. While on the front, the Redmi 10 features a 5MP shooter for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture. For security, it has a fingerprint scanner mounted on the back of the phone.

Redmi 10 boasts a big 6,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The newer variant comes in Midnight Black, Pacific Blue and Caribbean Green color options. Moving to the pricing, then the Redmi 10 (2022) is priced at INR 10,999 (approx. $145) for 64GB variant.
