This year’s Find X series has two new phones – the Oppo Find X5 and Find X5 Pro. Oppo Find X5 series goes up for pre-order, will be available through open sale starting March 14. The vanilla Oppo Find X5 has a 6.55-inch LTPS AMOLED panel of FHD+ resolution, while the big brother – the Find X5 Pro dawns a second-gen LTPO AMOLED panel of 6.7-inch size with 1440 X 3216 pixels resolution. In terms of power, the Find X5 comes with the Snapdragon 888 chipset, while the Pro variant gets the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Both phones are running on the latest Android 12 based ColorOS 12.1 OS.
One of the centerpiece attractions of the new Find X5 series phones is the triple-lens camera setup. Both phones embody a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, joined by a 13MP telephoto camera sensor. Although, the primary sensor is different in the two phones. Oppo expands the partnership with Hasselblad from its sister-brand OnePlus to its newest flagship smartphone lineup. Not only this, but the Find X5 series also gets Oppo’s new Marisilicon NPU for better camera performance. Moving to the front, then both Find X5 and Find X5 Pro are paired with a 32MP selfie shooter of f/2.4 aperture and 90° FOV.
Oppo Find X5 goes official in 8GB RAM, while the Find X5 Pro in 12GB RAM alongside the 256GB storage onboard. The standard Find X5 boasts a 4,800mAh battery, the big boi gets a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Oppo’s latest flagship comes in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White color options.
