Last Month, The Chinese smartphone brand Oppo adds a new smartphone to its A-series, the new one is dubbed as Oppo A53. The new Oppo A53 ships with a 90Hz refresh rate panel and Snapdragon 460 chipset. It looks very similar to the Oppo A72. The new member of the Oppo A-series bears a triple camera setup instead of a quad-camera setup on recently launched phones. Oppo’s A-series phones are billing under the mid-range price bracket, and the latest Oppo A53 in India is priced at ₹13,000 (approx. $175 / €150). Yes, It’s not an FHD resolution panel. The smartphone gets two different RAM and storage options – 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB onboard.

In terms of optics, the device bundles a triple-lens camera setup on the back. Oppo A53 features a 13MP primary camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro camera, along with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the smartphone has a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 1.0 micron-pixel size. Oppo A53 houses the Snapdragon 460 chipset and boots up on ColorOS 7.2 based Android 10 (out-of-the-box).

Oppo packed its new A-series device with a 5,000mAh battery that sports a decent 18W fast charging speed. The device is available Fairy White, Electric Black, and Fancy Blue color options.
