Just a few days ago, Oppo unveiled a new A-series smartphone in the form of the Oppo A36. In terms of looks, the A36’s design is very similar to the Oppo Reno 7 series. The smartphone goes official with the Snapdragon 680 SoC, 6.56-inch 90Hz punch-hole display, 5,000mAh battery, and more. Oppo A36 – Details

Oppo A36 is available for purchase in Oppo’s homeland China, will also be launched in other markets very soon. Before moving to the wallpapers section, here’s your sneak peek at the specs of the new Oppo A-series phone. On the front side, the smartphone dons a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel, it’s a 90Hz refresh rate supported panel with 720 X 1612 pixels resolution. Apart from that, there’s a punch-hole camera cutout with an 8MP shooter for selfies of f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone boots up with ColorOS 11.1 based Android 11 OS out-of-the-box.

Under the hood, Oppo A36 houses the Snapdragon 680 4G chipset which is based on 6nm technology. The smartphone comes in only 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for expansion. In terms of optics, the Oppo A36 features a dual-lens camera setup on the back. The module offers a 13MP primary camera sensor of f/2.2 aperture, 1.12-micron pixel size, PDAF, and other essential features support. Moving to the secondary lens, then it is a 2MP depth sensor.

Oppo packs its latest A-series phone – the A36 with a 5,000mAh battery which charges the device at normal 10W charging speed. The smartphone is available for purchase in Black and Blue color options and priced at CNY1,599 (approx. ₹18,750 / $250). So these are the specs of the new Oppo A36 smartphone.
