The Surface Laptop 3 will be available from 22 October in stores. The device comes in two different sizes, 13- and 15-inch both have 201 PPI. Talking about the display resolution then the 13-inch has 2256 X 1504 pixels resolution while the bigger one is in 2496 X 1664 pixels resolution. It runs on Windows 10. The vanilla variant is available in 8GB or 16GB LPDDR4x RAM while the Pro variant is available in 8GB, 16GB, along with a 32GB LPDDR4x RAM options.
Talking about the storage then both the Surface 3 Laptops are available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB SSD storage options. You can expand the storage or replace the hard drive if you want. One of the biggest highlights of the new Surface Laptop 3 is the processor, Yes, the 15-inch one has AMD Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 custom CPU alongside with the AMD Vega 9/11 GPU. While the smaller one has Intel 10th Gen Ice Lake CPU along with Intel Iris GPU. The new Surface 3 Laptop comes with 11.5 hours of battery backup time.
Both have the same 720p HD front camera and uses Windows Hello Face authentication for security purposes. The portable PC comes with these ports, it is coupled with 1x USB Type-C ports, 1x USB-A, one port to connect Surface, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is available in Platinum metal, Matte Black metal, and Sandstone metal color options. The price of the new Microsoft Surface 3 Laptop starts at $999.
