Apple pushes iOS 13.5 Beta 3 & iPadOS 13.5 Beta (with Download Link)

The iOS 13.5 Beta 3 and iPadOS 13.5 Beta 3 are now available for supported iPhones & iPads respectively. This is the next update after iOS 13.4.5 Beta 2, yes Apple has changed version maybe because of the new SDK. And it means the next stable version can be iOS 13.5 instead of iOS 13.4.5, the same for iPadOS. This is the first time Apple introduces the 5th iteration of any update till now. So we can expect the stable release soon as there is very little chance to get the 6th iteration of update. The OTA file is also available for the new beta update. Here you get to Download iOS 13.5 Beta 3 (IPSW) and iPadOS 13.5 Beta (IPSW) for iPhones and iPads.

The iOS 13.5 comes with a few new features like COVID-19, which we talk later in this article. This update is more focused on the pandemic COVID-19 to help users in many possible ways. We have also seen some new features in previous iOS 13.4.5 beta 2 like sharing songs from Apple Music to Instagram and Facebook stories. The same feature is also available on iOS 13.5 Beta 3 and iPadOS 13.5 Beta 3 updates. And only the COVID-19 feature is available as new in the recent update. Apple and Google are working together on this project to provide every help that they can, and the COVID-19 is the first feature based on their project. The same feature we can see on Android phones too.

The update comes with build number 17F5054h. The size for the update may vary as per the device, and it is around 250MB. In this update, there is no change in modem firmware which is still 1.06.00, it means no update on WiFi and network. Along with iOS 13.5 Beta 3 & iPadOS. Apple has also released the beta update for macOS 10.15.5, tvOS 13 Beta 3 and watchOS 6.2.5 Beta 3 updates.

iOS 13.5 Beta 3 Features

Covid 19 Contact Tracing – This is the new option available in the latest beta. You can enable it from Settings > Privacy > Health > COVID-19 Exposure Notifications. It securely shares your device id with other nearby devices using Bluetooth. And if you are exposed to Covid-19 or had contact with Covid-19 infected, then you will be notified. Randon IDs will be deleted after 14 days from its first appearance. It also works with Android and iOS phones.

Face ID improvement – The Face ID feature has also been enhanced. Now when you look at your iPhone wearing mask, then it will directly open the passcode page. So that you don’t have to swipe up two times to get into the passcode screen.

So these are the new changes that you get to see on your iPhones. The Covid-19 feature is not available in iPadOS. Let now jump to the download section.
