Here’s How You can Install Android Q Beta on Realme 3 Pro

Recently in Google I/O 2019, Google has announced the new build of Android Q beta with many few features and bug fixes. Surprisingly this time Google has added about 15 other smartphones other than Pixel devices. And Realme 3 Pro is among those devices, so if you have Realme 3 Pro then you can experience Android Q on your phone. Here I will explain How to Download & Install Android Q Beta on Realme 3 Pro.

The first build of Android Beta was only available for Pixel devices. And now it is available for 15 devices other than pixel phone. Thanks to Project Treble due to which it is possible. Android Q Beta 3 comes with a lot of goodies such as True Dark Mode, Full Android Gestures, New UI, Updated Digital Wellbeing, etc.

In Android Q the Dark Mode is available as a system-wide not for only a few apps. So if you love Dark theme then you don’t have to go for an alternative method, you can get it directly through the OS. To turn on this feature quickly then you can on Power saving mode or turn on from Display settings.

Digital Wellbeing

This feature was announced with Android Pie last year. It is helpful to track system activities like how many time user unlocked the phone, how much user has used specific apps and more. And with Android Q Beta 3 digital wellbeing now comes with Focus Mode and Family Link.

In Android Q the new suggestion mode will help you to reply immediately with short suggested sentences. When you get a message you will also get three reply options related to your chat like Sure, No thanks, Ok, No problem etc.

Gestural Navigation

With Android Q you will also get gesture support. You have full control to enable it or disable it. On enabling it the gestures like Pixel devices will now be available on your phone. Like to switch between apps you can slide the bar left or right. Along with this, there are more cool gestures that you will definitely like.

Customized according to Foldable phones

Android Q is design and customized according to the need of upcoming smartphones like foldable phones. Features like resume games or Apps where you left will help you during folding and unfolding the devices. How to Install Android Q Beta on Realme 3 Pro

Once you have downloaded the firmware then you are ready to install it on your phone. This method is the same for both in case of upgrading to Android Q or degrading to Android P. Make sure to follow prerequisites first.


  • Download the required firmware from the above link
  • Charge your phone to at least 50%
  • Take a full backup before you begin the process (The method will erase all the data)

Steps to Install Android Q Beta on Realme 3 Pro

  1. Transfer the downloaded firmware to the phone’s root folder (outside of every folder).
  2. Turn off your phone completely.
  3. Press Power + Volume down keys to boot into recovery mode.
  4. Select a language to proceed further.
  5. In recovery, go to Install from Storage Device > From Phone Storage. Locate and select the zip file (P2Q.ozip). install android q beta on realme 3 pro
  6. It will start installing Android Q on realme 3 pro so wait for 100% completion.
  7. After completion select Reboot.
  8. Now you have successfully installed Android Q Beta on Realme 3 Pro.
