Huawei’s new clamshell flip phone is already available for purchase in mainland China with a starting price of CNY5,988 (approx. $820 / €830 / Rs. 67,120). Huawei Pocket S dawns a 6.9-inch foldable OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate support and 1188 X 2790 pixels resolution. The cover display is a 1.04-inch OLED panel with a 340 X 340 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the phone has the Snapdragon 778G chipset and runs on HarmonyOS 3.0.
In terms of optics, Huawei launches the new Pocket S with a dual-lens camera module featuring a 40MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Moving to the front, then there’s a 10.7MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. Huawei’s new clamshell foldable comes in three different options – 8GB / 128GB, 8GB / 256GB, and 8GB / 512GB. The battery size remains the same as the P50 Pocket – 4,000mAh with 40W fast charging. The phone comes in Blue, Pink, Green, Silver, Gold, and Black colors.
