Huawei Nova 9 & 9 Pro – Details

Huawei’s Nova 9 series phones are available for purchase in its mainland China and European markets. Before heading over to the wallpapers section, here’s your sneak peek at the specs and details of the Nova 9 lineup. Starting from the front, then the vanilla Nova 9 dons a 6.57-inch OLED panel, while the Pro variant has a 6.72-inch OLED panel with 1236 X 2676 pixels resolution. Both phones are powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset and run on HarmonyOS 2.0. The Nova 9 series is equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB storage onboard.

In terms of optics, then there’s a quadruple-camera module on the back of the Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro. The new Huawei phones are billing with the main 50MP camera sensor (which has an f/1.9 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, along with a couple of 2MP shooters. On the front side, there’s a single-lens 32MP punch-hole camera in the Nova 9, however, the Pro variant has dual-lens 32MP + 32MP selfie shooters. For security, there’s an under-display optical fingerprint scanner.

The starter variant is paired with a 4,300mAh battery with 66W charging support, while the Nova 9 Pro has a 4,000mAh battery with a whopping 100W fast charging support. The new Huawei phones are available in Starry Blue, Black, Green, Violet color options. Moving to the pricing, then the Nova 9 starts at €499 in Europe (approx. $564 / ₹42,500).
