Three months ago, Huawei released the stable build of its own smartphone operating system, titled, HarmonyOS 2.0 (aka HongmengOS 2.0). Huawei first show-off its operating system at Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2020. Although, the stable build arrives in the Q2 of 2021. Visually, the new HarmonyOS 2.0 looks very similar to the EMUI 11 (which was based on Android 10). Talking about the feature list, then the OS comes in with a new control center with real-time blur engine, faster app loading, new icons, message pop-up window, multiple application clone support, super device mode, a handful of new gestures.

HarmonyOS 2.0 already hits a big list of Huawei phones and it is still in a rolling phase for the pending models. As per the company’s official roadmap, the OS will hit pending models by H1 of 2022.
