The camera is the major highlight of the iQOO 7 series phones and the new iQOO 9 lineup is no different. All three iQOO 9 series phones are billing with a triple-lens camera module. The new iteration is billing with upgraded cameras, including gimbal stabilization on the vanilla iQOO 9 and 9 Pro. Moving to the iQOO 9 SE, then it features the same 48MP trio as its predecessor iQOO 7. It captures impressive shots using the default camera app, also sideloads the Pixel 6 camera app as a third-party companion. Under the hood, the iQOO 9 Pro dons the Samsung GN5 Gimbal 50MP main camera, a 50MP Samsung JN1 Fish-eye camera, and a 16MP telephoto camera. While the iQOO 9 and 9 SE have Sony IMX598 48MP primary camera sensor. Moving to the software side, then the iQOO 9 series phones are boasted with the Funtouch Camera app, it is the same app we’ve seen in the Vivo X70 series phones. The app has a bunch of useful features but in case you’re looking for a better alternative, then you can give a try to the Google Camera app.

iQOO 9 lineup phones come with Camera2 API support out-of-the-box, which simply means you can use the GCam app on your smartphone. And the latest ported version – GCam 8.4 is also working with these phones. You can use features such as Night Sight photography, low-light Astrophotography, HDR+ Enhanced mode, Slo-mo video, Beauty Mode, Lens Blur, RAW support, and more with GCam 8.4 port. Google Camera is compatible with all three iQOO 9 phones – iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, and iQOO 9 SE. Yes, you can easily use the GCam mod on your iQOO 9 series phone. There are a couple of GCam ports working with the iQOO 9 lineup, below we attach the download links to the newest GCam 8.4 by BSG and GCam 7.3 by Urnyx05. Before starting using the app, I suggest you to make some changes to the settings in GCam.

Note: Before Installing the new Gcam Mod ported app, make sure to delete the older version (if youโ€™ve installed). This is not a stable version of Google Camera, so it may have some bugs.

  1. Open the app, then swipe down to open Settings, tap More Settings > Allow access to manage files.
  2. Now open settings > Advanced > enable HDR+ control, Auto Night Sight.
  3. Once done, open the Google Camera app, then swipe down to open Settings, now turn on HDR+ enhanced mode.
  4. Thatโ€™s it.

You can make more changes to the Settings as per your needs. For MGC_8.4.400_A10_V3_MGC.apk thereโ€™s no need to configure many settings.
