In March, HMD Global has announced two new 5G smartphones, including budget mid-range segment Nokia 5.3 5G and mid-range Nokia 8.3 5G. Talking about the premium Nokia 8.3 5G, then one of the main highlights of the device is its 64MP quadruple-camera setup. In terms of power, the device houses with the Snapdragon 765G chipset and runs on Android 10. With this, you can sideload the GCam app (from Pixel 4) to capture better images.   1. Then, head over to the file manager and create a new folder called, GCam.
  2. Open GCam folder and create one more folder with configs7 name.
  3. Now paste the config file inside the configs7 folder.
  4. Once done, Open the Google Camera app and double tap on the black blank area placed next to the shutter button.
  5. Tap on the settings shown (with Nokia-83.xml), available in the popup & press the restore button.
  6. Go back to the app drawer and then open the app again.

How to Install Google Camera on Nokia 8.3 5G

  1. At first download the app from above-listed links.
  2. After downloaded, head over to the settings then enable the Unkown Sources.
  3. Now Install the Google Camera.
  4. Once done, open the app and allow the app permissions if any needed.
  5. That’s it.

Note: Before Installing the new Gcam Mod ported app, make sure to delete the older version (if you’ve installed). This is not a stable version of Google Camera, so it may have some bugs.
