Apple announces a new official store set to open on January 20, in Hongdae, South Korea. Continuing with tradition, the tech giant has released new wallpapers, including a special logo for the store, to celebrate the occasion. Apple Hongdae Store wallpaper is now available for Mac, iPhone, and iPad, and you can download it here.
The new Apple Store Hongdae is located at 140 Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The grand opening is scheduled for January 20 at 10 AM, with operating hours from 10 AM to 10 PM local time.
We previously shared wallpapers when Apple opened new stores in India last year. These wallpapers feature an Apple logo designed to reflect the local culture of the area where the store is opening. The Apple Store Hongdae Wallpaper, for instance, showcases a graffiti-style logo.
In his newsletter, Michael Steeber shared an intriguing discovery – the Apple logo in the wallpaper has the hidden word ‘Hongdae’ in Korean.
While many Apple fans may not have the opportunity to attend the opening of the new store, they can still celebrate with the new logo wallpaper tailored for different devices. These wallpapers are available on the official Apple website, allowing users to download the wallpaper in the resolution specific to their device. For instance, if you have a Mac, it will download the wallpaper in Mac resolution, and the same applies to iPhones and iPads. But, it doesn’t allow downloading in all three formats.
