Apple brings a whole bunch of new wallpapers with iOS 16 to the iPhone. As the next version of iOS, i.e. iOS 16 is still under development, Apple is adding more new wallpapers to the iOS. The fourth developer beta of iOS 16 brings a whole bunch of new wallpapers to the new home app and Apple CarPlay. With iOS 16, Apple gives a massive upgrade to the CarPlay with features like in-cabin control through the CarPlay interface, adaptable to different screens, new widgets, separate display for drivers, new app categories, an instrument cluster, reply to messages with Siri, and much more. And obviously, to make these features look good there are some new background wallpapers as well.
Moving to the new home app, then the app brings a new Home View, popup menu for tiles in the app, more usable buttons, a new button for shortcuts, customization options for scenes, and obviously the new wallpapers as well. Now let’s take a look at the wallpapers available on the new home app and CarPlay.
The complete set of new wallpapers is now available to us. The collection packs six new CarPlay wallpapers, whereas the home app bags twenty new wallpapers. In terms of design, the new wallpapers in the home app are simple colorful gradient wallpapers, whereas the wallpapers for CarPlay are similar to the default iOS 16 wallpaper. The home app wallpapers are available in 1000 X 1000 pixels resolution, CarPlay wallpapers are in 2048 X 2048 pixels resolution. Here are the low-resolution preview images of the new wallpapers.
