Pixel 8 support 18W wireless charging. Whereas the Pixel 8 Pro support 23W wireless charging. Wait there is a catch. These numbers are with Google Pixel Stand (2nd gen).

With a third party Qi-certified wireless chargers the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro support only 12W wireless charging.

Wireless charging are slower than wired charging because of many reasons. One common reason is that it generate more heat than wired which could be bad for battery as well as phones.

Reverse wireless charging is even slower under 5W. And it deteriorate battery health much faster than wired and wireless charging. So avoid using reverse charging unless it is necessary.

Which is better Wired or Wireless Charging?

Of course, Wired charging is better than Wireless charging mainly because of two reasons. Wired charging is faster than wireless charging and it is better for long use of the battery. While with wireless charging battery health goes down faster.
