The same studio behind popular games such as Asphalt 9, The Oregon Trail, Sniper Fury, Modern Combat Versus, and a ton of other games. Now whether Disney Speedstorm will be a paid game or a free to play, nobody knows yet. The trailer for this new racing game has a lot of high energy. You get to see 4 characters getting ready to race and compete against each other. You get to see Mickey mouse, Captain jack Sparrow and a few others who can be seen driving through the crazy tracks that have a lot of obstacles as well as platforms that allow you to jump into the air and land on the other tracks.
While you might just be racing, you will need to be alert at all times. Your opponents will be making use of different tricks and weapons to slow you down and make sure you spin out of control so that you lose. The tracks are quite colorful and have a lot of elements that can be seen in Disney and Pixar movies. There has been a closed beta that was held early this year and a lot of gameplay videos have surfaced online. The gameplays show you the different race tracks in the game that have been taken from different Disney and Pixar movies. Whether it’s from Hercules, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Monsters Inc, you will be able to race along just fine. Also, each character in the game can be leveled up as and when you progress through the game. The characters will also be having unique skills and tricks that can be sued to take advantage of the other players.
We can also expect to see more characters, vehicles, and race maps made available after the game releases. Hopefully, we could even be seeing different festivals; and holiday-themed events to keep the game alive for a said period. Regarding the physics and handling of the vehicles in the game, you can expect them to be similar in the lines of Gameloft’s popular arcade racer- Asphalt 9.
