One of the most popular games back in the early 2000s is getting a brand-new game in 2024. Do you remember playing the good old FPS game called Delta Force? You’ve heard it right, there is a new Delta Force game coming out this year and a lot of us out here want to know whether the game lives up to expectations or not. Now those who played might have a good memory of what the game looked like and how it played.
Of course, with a classic title getting a modern game after 25 years will result in several changes. However, one can simply hope that the core gameplay and objective of the game remains unchanged.
If you are reading this and have wanted to go back to playing the classic Delta Force game from 25 years ago, Delta Force 1 can be purchased on Steam. Without wasting any more time, let’s focus on the release date, trailer, and everything else that you need to know about the modern Delta Force game.
Delta Force Release Date
Delta Force was first announced at the 2023 Gamescom event. Accompanied by an announcement trailer, players were able to pre-register for the game on Steam and the Epic Games Store. There was no release date mentioned in the trailer. The game is slated for a 2024 release, but nobody knows exactly when. So, we’ve still got to watch out for that.
Delta Force: Developer and Publisher
Team Jade is developing Delta Force which the TiMi Studio Group will publish. It looks like this will be the first game for the developer and people are hoping that the team does a good job bringing back the classic franchise series.
Delta Force: Trailer
While it might feel good to see a franchise being brought back to life, the trailer for the game just makes you give up. The gameโs trailer released last year shows pre-alpha game footage of the operator taking down the enemies. Things simply go down south when we see the operator use power-ups, a thing that was never a part of the original Delta Force game from NovaLogic. The trailer feels like the game is a clone of the popular Call of Duty franchise.
Delta Force Gameplay
While last yearโs trailer felt off-putting, the new early access trailer for Delta Force that was revealed at Gamescom 2024 seems to do a much better job of what the game is going to give you. Delta Force takes place in two different eras 1993 and 2035. The older 1993 timeframe requires you to be a Delta Force operator fighting about with your favorite guns.
The developers have stated that they have recreated the Black Hawk Dawn campaign. However, if you choose the newer timeframe, you will be working as a member of the G T I- a peacekeeping force created by ex-Delta Force operators. Your role will be to take down the illegal activities in the region of Ahsarah. The game is currently undergoing beta testing and will soon be released to the public in a few months.
Players will be able to select from three different game modes Hazard Operations, Havoc Warfare, and Black Hawk Down.
