PlayStation and Death Stranding fans assemble! There is a new Death Stranding game set for release later this year! Hideo Kojima has officially announced Death Stranding 2 with a new trailer, along with a special collector’s edition of the game also being revealed.

Death Stranding 2 Release Date and Announcement

Now, coming over to 2025, the game not only got its official release date but also got a 10-minute-long pre-order trailer for the game. This is the trailer where we see the pre-order dates go live for the game. You will be able to pre-order the game from the 17th of March 2025.
Death Stranding 2 Gameplay
The game takes you on a mission to bring back human connection and unite people together. You play the role of Sam, who has several companions to help him on this mission. The main goal is to save humanity from extinction. Apart from the vicious enemies that are out there to hunt you down, you will face hardships while crossing different terrains and the ever-changing harsh weather.
Through all the journeys and battles, there will always be one burning question, should everyone have connected? To find the answer, you will have to wait until the 26th of June 2025 when you play the game.
Death Stranding 2: Per-Order and Special Editions
The game is soon set to be available for pre-orders starting on the 17th of March 2025. You can erode the game digitally via the official Sony PlayStation Store or through select retailers around the world.
Apart from the base standard version of the game, Death Stranding 2 will come in two special editions – a collector’s edition and a digital deluxe edition.

Is Death Stranding 2 Coming to PC and Xbox?
Death Stranding 2 is a PS5 timed exclusive, so do not expect a PC or even an Xbox console port for the game anytime soon. Concerning PC, you can expect the game to be released at a later date, probably next year or so. These timeframes are decided by Sony itself.
Death Stranding 2: Multiplayer Co-Op?
