Customization Guide: How to Turn Your iPhone into a Dumb Phone

You need to install a third-party app called dumb phone. The app gives several options to customize the iPhone, starting with a large widget with five app shortcuts, a bunch of wallpapers with a hidden dock, spacer widgets, and more.

Customize your iPhone by following below steps:

Step 1: Install the Dumb Phone app on your iPhone from the App Store.

Step 2: Open the app, you need to pick five apps you want to add to your home screen. Now, grant the required permissions.

Step 3: Tap the Paint Board icon, change the background color, text position, font and size for app labels, and tinted home screen.

Step 4: Tap the Gear Icon at the top left corner, select wallpapers and download your favorite wallpaper. Once downloaded, you can apply it by navigating to the Photos app.

Step 5: Go back to the home screen, tap and hold on an empty area to enter the jiggle mode, now tap the top left corner, followed by the Edit button > Add Widget > Select Dumb Phone’s Large Widget.
