Over the past few months, Oppo has rolled out its latest Android 12 centric ColorOS 12 update to many eligible phones. Now the company has pushed the goodness of ColorOS 12 to quite a few more phones. Today, Oppo has released the stable ColorOS 12 upgrade for eight more smartphones, the list includes – Oppo F17 Pro, F19 Pro, Oppo A93, A94, Oppo Reno4 F, Reno5 F, Oppo Reno4 Lite, and the Reno5 Lite. According to the information shared by Oppo Admin on the community forum, the update for all above-listed phones are available in select markets. The update for F-series devices is available in India, Reno4 F and Reno 5F’s OTA is seeding in Indonesia, and the A-series models are getting the new update in UAE. While if you own the Reno4 Lite or Reno5 Lite in Kazakhstan, then you can now update your phone to the Android 12 based ColorOS 12 OS. However, a few things that need to be kept in mind before you begin upgrading your smartphone.
- Oppo F17 Pro, Reno4 F, A93, Reno4 Lite should be running on C.35 software version
- Oppo F19 Pro should be running on A.28/A.29/A.30 software version
- Oppo Reno5 F should be running on A.27/A.29/A.30 software version
- Oppo A94 should be running on A.29/A.30 software version
- Oppo Reno5 Lite should be running on A.27/A.30 software version
Make sure that your Oppo smartphone is running on the above-mentioned software version, if your phone is running on the mentioned version, then you will receive the stable ColorOS 12 upgrade very soon. At the time of writing, it is in a rolling phase but will be available to everyone in a few days.
Moving to the changes, then the ColorOS 12 has a slew of useful features such as the new inclusive design, 3D textured icons, adopts Android 12-based widgets, new features for AOD, new privacy controls, and many other features. You can head over to the Settings > Software Update > ColorOS 12 version, then request an update. Once done, you will receive the ColorOS 12 build over the air with new features and goodies.
